Hey guys, how were the Phys and Chem papers? I briefly glanced at the Phys paper, yes I know it’s difficult, but hope you guys had tried your best! I was on MC today, so I didn’t have a chance to look at the Chem paper! Hopefully it doesn’t kill you all haha… Ok, remember: what doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger!

So you all must be happy mid-year exams are over! Ok I have news on my side too. I just received my posting today in the letter box. I will be teaching at RJC! Pretty happy because RJC is my alma mater hehe, so I hope it would be a fulfilling experience to serve my alma mater!

Yes I will of course miss you guys and will cherish the fond memories with all of you! Thank you for being such a great bunch of students

Exam time

Hey guys! How have the exams been for you guys? So far so good? Well, only 3 more days to go! Physics and Chem papers coming up, please study hard!

I have been feeling a bit unwell since yesterday… wah must be the hot hot hot weather lah. So I didn’t go out today and stayed at home to rest. So sad right? Luckily there is still 1 more day of weekend to go so I hope to recover by tomorrow!

Guys, please drink lots of water to prevent yourself from falling sick during the exam period! Good luck and continue to add oil!

My last day of lessons with you guys…

Hello kids! Eh, can call you all that or not ah? Anyway, to Miss Ng, you all will always be young kids lah hehe. You guys will be sitting for your mid-year exams on Monday! Hope you all are ready When you guys finish exams, I’ll be back at NIE for a while before I become a real teacher! As for where I will be teaching in future, I have no idea, but will update you guys lah. Who knows? I may be back!

Time flies hor? Today marks the end of my lessons with you guys! It’s been 8 weeks with you guys, just wanna say thank you to all of my students for being so nice! Ok lah, you guys gotta admit you are not good ALL the time right? But most of the time still can lah It has been great getting to know all of you and I do rem your names k! Really hope you guys have gained something from my lessons, be it things about Chemistry, about people or simply about life… Rem, learning is never-ending and we (including myself yes) should continue to strive for excellence in all we do!

Just want to thank 3/2 for the yummy donuts and 3/5 for the wacky photos we took!Really appreciate it lots and felt so touched to know you guys care for me!!! *sniff* Leanne and Dione, I hope the photos turn out normal. You know what I mean? No photoshop or what ah, until I don’t recognize myself anymore. Must maintain fond memories with the class what! You all give me the photos liao, then I can put on my blog yah?

Good luck everybody for the upcoming exams! I’ll continue to update and you guys can continue to post comments! Sorry lah, no tag board, I don’t know how to set up! I will be around in school for 2 more weeks, so just look for me when you need help!

One week to mid-year exams

Ok I’m using the title just to remind you guys of the upcoming exams! Not going to preach anymore, if not I become naggy. Well, the weekend came and left again. I wish everyday is a Saturday or Sunday! Haha don’t you wish that too? But well, reality is often not what we hope for, so I guess I will try to work hard on weekdays so I can take a little break during the weekends! All work and no play makes Carine a dull girl! Hahaha…

Just to share with you guys what I have done over the weekend (besides work of course). I went to do some shopping and caught the movie “Definitely, Maybe”. It was nice! But I don’t encourage you guys to watch movies now with the exams round the corner… maybe after exams?

Add oil peeps! Don’t forget to do the past mid-year papers because I’ll be going through!

Wedding weekend

As promised, I will blog about my best friend’s wedding which took place on Saturday. The wedding took place at a church and it was really nice! I was kept busy as I had to look after her and made sure she looked pretty! Hehe it was quite fun being a bridesmaid and my first time too! Just a photo to share…

That’s me and 2 of my bestest friends from JC! Haha people always see us together in school last time and we were like the 3 musketeers! After JC, we studied different courses in the same university, but still kept in touch all this while and we are still good friends up till now! I must say friendships forged during school days are those that will probably last for a long time… so must treasure your friends!

Ok folks, with 2 more weeks to mid-year exams, I sincerely urge everyone to study hard and pay attention in class! 3/3, remember to do Worksheet 4 and 3/5, remember to do Worksheet 5 & 6! And those who still owe me homework, don’t make me chase after you ah… if not hiak hiak…

Busy as a bee

Hey guys! I’m so sorry I haven’t been posting here… almost forgot about the existence of this blog until Charmaine made a comment and said to update! Haha thanks Charmaine for the reminder! Anyway, tomorrow is Games Day and I hope you guys will enjoy yourself But do be reminded that Monday is your Chemistry common test and the topics are:

separation techniques

kinetic particle theory

atomic structure

bonding

Study hard hor! I’m sure if you revise your stuff, you can do well!

As for why I’m so busy this week… well I have been up to my neck with lesson preparation, marking and I have a report due tomorrow! 3000-4000 words long! Gah, I was like trying to find words to write the whole of last weekend, and I still haven’t finished it! Not sure how long I will have to stay up till tonight to complete it. Yes, teachers are actually busy creatures. There are times I would rather ignore all my work and go play or watch TV, but I know I can’t because I have got work to do. I understand there are a lot of “temptations” out there and you guys would be tempted to play instead of doing homework. But really, life is about priorities. Work is hateful but no choice, we still have to get it done.

Oh, one of my best friends is getting married this weekend and I’m the bridesmaid! Hehe if I have nice pics, I will post ok? So I guess I will be rather busy helping out as well. She is having a bachelorette’s party tonight, but I think you can figure out that I am stuck at home with my undone report Anyway, in case you’re wondering, I’m not that old even though my ex-classmate is getting married

Perhaps you guys would like to guess which schools I have been to? Haha no prizes though!

Alright, shall go eat dinner liao. Study hard for the common test, and also starting revising for your mid year exams! All the best folks!

Long long day

Hey guys, I’ve been rather busy lately with all the lesson preparation and marking. And chasing after people who owe me homework. You know who you are. Yes, I hope you see that I’m working hard for you guys, so please put in effort on your part too. For my Chem classes, we are/will be starting on the next part of the chapter – pH scale and indicators! I don’t think it’s a difficult topic so not to worry! For 3/2, we’ll be continuing with kinematics for the next few lessons. Please look for me if you have any doubts!

I kinda miss my school days now that I’m a working adult… I think schooling days are the best days of one’s life! So young people, treasure your youth and spend your days meaningfully. Time and tide waits for no man and don’t wait for anything to happen, because you got to work hard if you want to achieve something.

2 more days to the weekend! Hang in there guys, and remember to complete the homework I have assigned you!

School again tomorrow

Hey guys, I’m real sorry I haven’t been posting here, because this has been a hectic week for me. Just wanna say thanks to 3/3 for behaving well in class on Friday when my prof came down for a visit! You guys really helped me lots! But hope you all can continue to be enthu during Chemistry class ok!

The rest of my classes, please remember to do your work. Good luck for Physics common test tomorrow 3/2! 3/3 and 3/5, you all got Chemistry common test coming up in 2 weeks’ time and I think it’s time you all start to revise. But if you have been paying attention in class and doing homework consistently, I don’t think there is a cause of worry… but in any case, feel free to come to me if you have any question yah?

I had a little time off this weekend and I went up to Mount Faber. The view is quite nice from there! But there was renovation going on, so the Jewel Box is not very nice now. I’m sure when the renovation is completed, it will really be a nice place to chill and hang out! Just that it’s not very convenient to go up there, the bus 409 comes every 30 minutes and only operates on weekends and public holidays.

Hi everyone, I’m sorry I have not been posting because I’ve been quite busy! But I really wanted to post something to you guys now because I have something to say. Wonder how many people are reading this now…

I just marked some test papers, and nobody passed! I’m starting to wonder what went wrong… guys, please please buck up ok?

3/5, please hand in your holidays assignment which is already way overdue. If I have to go after you for the homework, you must be prepared to face the music.

I just want to say, I hope you guys take your learning seriously… because ultimately you’ll have to be responsible for your studies and your grades belong to you and not me…
