Hi guys, how’s life? Hope everyone is having a fruitful holiday! Anyway, it’s the last day of hols tomorrow, have you got your homework done? Please remember to do ok? I’ll be seeing you guys for Chemistry on Tuesday.

This hols is so short! I barely have time to do my work, let alone have fun and enjoy. Haha hols seem to pass faster when I am a teacher. Haha oh yah I caught the show 10000B.C. today. It was quite good, I like the scenery they filmed. Any other good movies to catch?

See you guys in school soon!

Tiring day

•March 6, 2008 • 2 Comments

Hi guys, it has been a tiring day for me! In fact, I just got home not too long ago. I was in school preparing lessons for you guys 🙂

So happy that there are people reading my blog. You guys can write comments one hor! Anyway, today’s Chem lessons were on ionic equations. Yes, to write ionic equations, you have to first write the balanced chemical equations, then break up the aqueous compounds into ions, cancel out the spectator ions and viola, you get the ionic equation! 3/5, please finish up worksheets 3 and 4 and hand in tomorrow! 3/3, you guys are supposed to do worksheet 5 during the hols! Oh btw, I have marked your quiz on chemical bonding… I think you all need to brush up on that topic leh…

Alright, hope you guys don’t find me too naggy. Remember, it’s all for your own good 🙂

I’ll be kept rather busy this weekend… hehe got happy occasion in my family lah. Will let you guys in some time later and hopefully I can post some nice pics too!

Study hard during the hols yah?

Mid-week

2 more days to March holidays! Are you guys as excited about the holidays as I? Anyone going overseas? Be sure to share your experiences with your friends and me when you come back! As for me, I will be stuck in Singapore preparing your lessons…

Today was a rather good day for me. I managed to accomplish most of what I set out to do. 3/3, was the test hard? If you had found it hard, maybe it’s time to revise on chemical bonding during the hols! As for balancing chemical equations, I’m quite certain most of you already know how to, but please do Worksheet 3 and hand in up tomorrow yah?

If I go anywhere interesting/fun or watch a nice movie next week, I’ll share with you guys! Till the next time then!

Introduction

Hi boys and girls, welcome to Miss Ng’s blog! As you can see, it’s my first post. 3/5, sorry I gave the wrong URL in class today. I think you can tell how new I am to this blog thingy as well. Anyway, the purpose of me setting up this blog is to allow me to communicate better with you. I will try to put up what we learn for every lesson, homework assigned and what we will cover for subsequent lessons. I thought of putting up the slides, handouts and worksheets too, but that may not be possible because of infringement policies. So we will see how it goes…

3/5:

We learnt about chemical formulae today. Hope you guys are clear about how to write the chemical formulae for ionic and covalent compounds. If you have any doubts, please clarify with me. Remember to do W/S 1 and 2 and submit on Thursday!

So people, come and visit this blog as and when you can! Feel fire to leave comments too. If time permits, I will put up some of my photos and tell you more about my life!
